Financial Capability Practice Lead RoleWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Financial Capability Practice Lead to join our Food and Financial Assistance (FFA) Leadership Team. This role will focus on fostering growth and best practice in financial capability work across all areas, leading the development of practice guidelines, and contributing to program design and evaluation.
The successful candidate will have significant experience in financial capability, excellent people skills, and the ability to connect with, understand, and interact positively with colleagues, clients, and community. They will also have expertise in theory and practice of financial capability and short-medium term casework.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and grow our understanding of best practice in Financial Capability work.
- Connect with peak bodies, funding bodies, and service providers to grow Anglicare's contribution to sector learning and initiatives.
- Lead and contribute to projects aligned with Anglicare's strategy in financial capability.
- Lead the development and review of practice guides, procedures, and resources for financial capability work.
- Support caseworkers across teams in providing training, advice, and mentoring.
- Alignment with Anglicare's vision, mission, and values.
- Degree in Social Work and accredited member of AASW or similar.
- Demonstrated experience in a senior social work/case management role leading and mentoring other staff and achieving strong outcomes for vulnerable clients.
- Significant experience working in financial capability, including working with clients in community settings.
- Excellent people skills and ability to connect with, understand, and interact positively with colleagues, clients, and community.
