Key Responsibilities- Support families through a child and family-centred approach, ensuring children receive the appropriate interventions based on best practice evidence.
- Use your diploma or higher qualifications in Early Childhood, Allied Health, Social Work, or a related field to support evidence-based decision-making.
- Complete functional assessments for children with developmental concerns or disabilities, determining their needs and ensuring timely referrals to appropriate support pathways.
- Connect families to community services and mainstream programs to enhance their social participation and access to essential services.
- Guide families through NDIS plan reassessments, gathering evidence, assisting with goal development, and ensuring the right support is in place.
- Utilise the NDIS plan to support children and their families with improved choice, control, social participation, and overall quality of life.
- A passion for supporting children and families and making a positive difference in their lives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
