Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our Business Advisory division in Albury. This role offers a diverse range of clients and a fun, motivated team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and develop a portfolio of clients across various industries, ensuring jobs are completed effectively, meeting technical standards and deadlines, within budget.
- Utilize strong technical skills, including income tax, company tax, CGT, FBT, trusts, Division 7A, management accounting, and reporting requirements.
- Assist in preparing business advice and producing complex special purpose reports, annual financial statements, tax effect accounting, tax returns, and reconciliations for companies, partnerships, trusts, and various businesses.
- Work on business advisory projects, including budgets and cash flows, KPI dashboards, management reporting, virtual CFO services, business planning, cloud accounting advisory, and more.
- Provide hands-on assistance with cloud packages, including MYOB, Xero, and QBO, setting up ledgers, assisting with add-ons, and general troubleshooting to ensure data is clean and meaningful.
- Complete and supervise engagements involving multiple entities and various structures from beginning to end.
- Proven accounting experience within Public Practice or an established commercial organization.
- CA or CPA qualification or working towards this (desirable).
- Strong Excel skills and practical experience with cloud accounting products (i.e., Xero, MYOB).
- Genuine desire to be an enthusiastic and active contributor to our growing team.
