Salary

The estimated salary for this role is $29.59 - $32.23 per hour, plus casual loading, providing a total annual salary of approximately $61,000 - $67,000 based on a 20-hour workweek.

Job Description

We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced Casual Educators to join our team at Goodstart Horningsea Park. As a Casual Educator, you will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging learning environment for children, promoting their physical, emotional, and social development.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and implementing educational programs that cater to the needs of children;
  • Engaging with children and families to build strong relationships and promote a sense of community;
  • Maintaining a clean and safe environment that meets the National Quality Standards;
  • Working collaboratively with other educators and centre staff to achieve common goals;
  • Participating in ongoing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Certificate III in Children's Services or equivalent qualification;
  • Experience working in a childcare setting, preferably with children aged 0-5 years;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • A current First Aid certificate and Working With Children Check.
