Job Summary:
We are seeking an individual who will work back of house in a retail environment ensuring stock integrity, as well as maintaining an efficient flow of merchandise from storage to sales floor. We require someone who is passionate about supporting the team and thrives in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Stock Management: Unpack, label, and organize merchandise in an efficient and orderly manner to ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Delivery Processing: Receive and process incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy of items and quantities received.
- Equipment Handling: Utilize various machinery such as pallet jack, walkie stacker, and trolley to efficiently manage stock movement.
- Record Keeping: Use the inwards/outwards goods register for all inbound/outbound stock movement to maintain accurate records.
- Customer Support: Provide friendly customer service and support customers with pickups of their purchased items to enhance overall customer experience.
- Store Maintenance: Be responsible for maintaining store floor and stockroom standards to ensure a clean and organized working environment.
- Retail Storeroom Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a retail storeroom environment is preferred but not essential.
- Customer Service Experience: Previous customer service experience is highly desirable to provide excellent customer service skills.
- Machinery Experience: Ability to operate various machinery such as pallet jack, walkie stacker, and trolley is necessary to efficiently manage stock movement.
- Safety Requirements: Able to lift up to 15kgs between floor and shoulder, 10kgs above shoulder height on your own & 45kgs with the help of another team member to maintain safety standards.
