The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of acute medical conditions, stroke care management, and strong collaboration skills.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with acute medical and stroke-related conditions.
- Monitor and manage patients' vital signs, neurological status, and overall health.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies safely and in accordance with clinical guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including doctors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and speech therapists.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records, including care plans and observation charts.
- Respond promptly to emergencies and deteriorations, initiating appropriate interventions.
Requirements:
- A current registration as a Registered Nurse with the relevant governing body.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Able to work effectively in a dynamic environment.
