We are on a mission to revolutionize accessibility across our entire platform. As a Senior Accessibility Architect, you will lead the technical evolution of accessibility at Canva, architecting scalable solutions that enable accessible-by-default development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive architectural decisions for accessibility infrastructure
  • Lead critical cross-team accessibility initiatives
  • Design, develop and deploy hands-on solutions
  • Mentor engineers and champion accessibility best practices
  • Shape technical direction and influence product vision
  • Engage senior stakeholders to align accessibility initiatives with business objectives

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Deep expertise in accessibility engineering, including WCAG 2.2 AA and ATAG 2.0
  • Strong frontend expertise (JavaScript, React, TypeScript)
  • Strategic thinking that connects technical decisions to company-wide priorities
  • Track record of delivering high-impact projects
