About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Manager to provide comprehensive legal support to our clients in the Australasia business, ensuring strategic alignment with corporate policies and guidelines.

This key role involves:

  • Reviewing and negotiating tenders, supply contracts, and lease agreements to ensure favorable business outcomes.
  • Driving the implementation and management of pricing policies to enhance business profitability.
  • Addressing a wide range of commercial and legal issues across the region, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Assisting with leases and renewals of property, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Advising on insurance policies to minimize risk and maximize benefits.
  • Supporting the procurement team on negotiations of purchasing contracts, ensuring best value for the business.
  • Contributing to the development of pricing and policy strategies to drive business success.

**Requirements and Qualifications**

  • Tertiary qualifications in Law with a strong commercial, mathematical, and analytical background.
  • Minimum 7 years of post-qualification experience, including experience in-house in a legal or commercial role.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex legal documents.
  • Ability to draft detailed legal contract clauses.
  • Strong commercial sense and excellent legal skills.
  • Ability to understand the commercial ramifications of legal contract provisions and translate them into effective business solutions.
  • Prior experience in a related industry with an understanding of SAP ECC – pricing role.
  • Strong analytical background and commercial, mathematical, and statistical acumen.
