Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at IIQAF. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functionality and preservation of our premises.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough surveys of buildings to identify and repair mechanical systems that do not meet health and safety standards.
  • Maintain electrical systems by replacing light bulbs and sockets, cleaning and repairing circuit breaker panels, and performing other necessary tasks.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of ventilation, refrigeration, and other critical systems.
  • Ensure heating and plumbing systems are functioning properly and make repairs as needed.
  • Inspect and schedule repairs for alarm systems, including fire and protection systems.
  • Perform manual repairs such as fixing locks and replacing windows.
  • Carry out pest control activities by spraying insecticide as required.
  • Perform general upkeep procedures like landscaping and other assigned tasks such as painting and carpentry.
  • Collaborate with the management team to prepare and manage the budget for maintenance operations.
Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience as a Maintenance Technician is essential.
  • Familiarity with electrical, hydraulic, and other critical systems is required.
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods is necessary.
  • A working understanding of tools, common appliances, and devices is required.
  • Strong manual dexterity and problem-solving skills are essential.
  • Good physical condition and strength, with a willingness to work overtime when necessary.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; certification in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or a related field is desirable.
  • Certification as a Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) is an added advantage.
