Role SummaryWe are seeking a Principal Process Engineer to enhance our Brisbane-based operations. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in process plant design and a proven track record in executing studies and projects effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee the process engineering outputs for both preliminary and detailed design phases of projects.
- Assist the engineering team in the successful delivery of various projects and studies.
- Foster the professional growth of the process engineering team.
- Contribute to business development initiatives.
- Build and maintain robust client relationships.
- Ensure technical ownership of discipline deliverables, adhering to all relevant legislation, codes, specifications, and industry standards.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 15+ years of experience in mineral processing and commissioning.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in creating mass and energy balances using tools like Metsim, SysCAD, or similar.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Comprehensive experience in gold process design and base metal hydrometallurgy.
- Professional qualifications that meet the criteria for Competent Person under JORC 2012 and/or Qualified Person as per NI 43-101.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a history of collaborative work in diverse teams.
