Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist with showering or bathing, toileting, applying and removing compression garments, grooming, skin care, oral hygiene, and mobility assistance where safe to do so.
  • Domestic Assistance: Provide housework, laundry, meal preparation, and light gardening services.
  • Social & Emotional Support: Help clients stay connected through technology and activities.
  • Transportation: Accompany clients on shopping trips, medical visits, and support community connections.

About You
  • Prior experience in community or residential care is essential.
  • Hold a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care and provide a transcript of completed modules to verify your qualification.
  • Have Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Hold a valid Australian driver's license and access to a registered, insured vehicle.
  • You are comfortable traveling up to 45 minutes to 1 hour to reach clients.
  • Full COVID-19 vaccinations are highly desirable.
  • Position requires availability Mon - Fri (Occasional weekends highly desirable).
  • Successful candidates will initially work 20-30 hours per fortnight, with potential to increase hours.
