Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our SMSF Accounting operations. The successful candidate will have a strong foundation in accounting and experience managing self-managed super funds.

The role involves processing and allocating accounting transactions, conducting bank and investment reconciliations, interacting with clients, preparing financial statements and tax returns, and collaborating with external parties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and allocate accounting transactions for self-managed super funds (SMSFs)
  • Conduct bank and investment reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Interact with clients through various channels, including email, phone, and in-person meetings
  • Prepare financial statements and tax returns for SMSFs in accordance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with external parties, such as the Australian Tax Office and financial institutions
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in SMSF accounting
  • A relevant Bachelor's degree (Commerce or similar) with a major in Accounting and CA/CPA qualification
  • Experience using SimpleFund 360 and other accounting software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
