Under the direction of the Financial Controller, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for supporting all accounting activities as assigned and will collaborate with business unit accounting, operations, project accounting and administration.
This position will be responsible for assisting the Financial Controller in maintaining the financial integrity of our Australian Lodge Link division.
Requirements of the Role Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter who can work independently and highly analytical and experienced in supporting financial management related to our operational activities including financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting and reporting.
Successful applicants will have a strong background in financial analysis and a proven track record of success.
Work Arrangement This role is hybrid – primarily in-office with up to 20% flexibility to work from home.
Responsibilities Responsible for month end, quarter end and year end reporting, including but not limited to commentary on variance analysis between actuals and forecast Prepare all monthly accounting entries Prepare quarterly forecasting Monthly balance sheet reconciliation preparation and submissions Reconciling of credit cards Direct supervision of outsourced transactional team Assistance with new client credit checks Weekly bank transfer of commissions between NAB Client account and Admin account Weekly review of commission suspended report and investigating delays Establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments Identify and implement process improvements, as well as documenting such Ad hoc projects, as required Qualifications10+ years of related accounting experience CA or CPA qualification required Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Detail oriented and enjoys working with a team in a dynamic and fast-paced environment We Are an Equal Opportunity Employer We're committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment.
