Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Porter Services Manager to join our Concierge team on a full-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, supervising the Concierge department, and ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation and delivery services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service Standards: Ensure that all Concierge staff provide professional, helpful, and courteous service to our guests at all times.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Ensure that all vehicles are maintained to the highest standards, with daily checks completed to ensure cleanliness and safety.
  • Guest Arrivals and Departures: Coordinate and supervise the arrival and departure of guests, ensuring a seamless experience.
  • Staff Training and Development: Work with the Front Office Manager to provide training, mentoring, and recruitment of Concierge department staff.
  • Guest Complaints and Issues: Deal with guest complaints and issues in a prompt and professional manner.
  • Inventory Management: Monitor and control inventories for assets and operating equipment.
  • Shift Work: Work a range of shifts, including afternoons and evenings, as required.

Requirements

  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry is essential.
  • Customer Service: Proven customer service experience in a supervisory or management role is required.
  • Security and Health and Safety: Thorough knowledge of security, health, and safety requirements in a similar industry is essential.
  • Certifications: Certification in hospitality, training small groups, management, or supervision, and/or health and safety standards is an advantage.
  • Presentation and Grooming: Meticulous presentation and grooming standards are required.
  • Availability: Ability to work over a seven-day roster.
  • Desire to Succeed: A strong desire to be part of a high-achieving team.
  • Driver's License: Current WA driver's license (manual) is required; MR license is an advantage.
