Labourer/Drilling Operations Support Specialist

This is a critical role within our team that involves labouring/sampling tasks, requiring the successful candidate to perform various duties as directed by the Driller or Site Administrator.
- General labouring responsibilities including manual handling of tools and equipment.
- Conduct pre-start inspections on all machinery prior to use.
- Maintain tooling and ensure it is returned to its rightful location when not in use.
- Take care of plant and equipment provided, reporting any damage immediately.
- Monitor fuel and oil levels while the drill is in operation.
- Assist with bore construction, drilling, and consumable sharpening and handling.
- Operate water/fuel to drill rigs via support truck.
- Assist the driller and maintenance personnel in servicing and repairs to equipment.
- Participate in camp duties such as cooking, cleaning, etc.
- The ideal candidate must be an Indigenous Australian living in Perth, Western Australia.
- A current automatic or manual driver's license with no restrictions is mandatory (HR license highly desirable).
- Labor experience in civil, construction, or mining industries (highly desirable).
- FIFO experience (highly desirable).
- A permanent full-time position.
- A long-term project.
- A 2:1 roster.
- 12 hours per day.
- $40 per hour.
