The role involves providing holistic care to patients under the supervision of a staff specialist.
Key Responsibilities and Expectations- Comprehensive clinical assessments of patients in various settings are expected to be provided.
- Arrangements for investigations and discharge planning must be initiated as directed by the supervising consultant.
- Participation in daily consultant-led ward rounds, General Medicine or subspecialty outpatient clinics, and out-of-hours rosters is required.
- Accurate medical records must be maintained and contributions to teaching, quality improvement, and professional development activities are anticipated.
