Forensic Accounting and Dispute Resolution Opportunity

Skillful Professionals Sought for Expert Role

This position supports the practice of assisting clients with financial, accounting and economic issues in litigation and other disputes.

We're looking for an experienced professional to join our team, which focuses on expert evidence services, consulting advice and advocacy services to solicitors, barristers and corporate clients.

The successful candidate will have a flexible approach to problem-solving, capable of identifying and applying legal and financial principles across a range of contexts.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to:

  • Prepare damages assessments, valuations, analyse technical accounting issues, prepare economic analyses and conduct financial investigations.
  • Prepare complex financial models in Microsoft Excel, including DCF analyses.
  • Draft high-quality experts' reports and other deliverables.
  • Work directly with some of Australia's best litigators and expert witnesses.
  • Develop relationships, both internally and externally.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A post-graduate qualification (CA preferred) or be on track to complete it in the next 12 months.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in building financial models.
  • Able to communicate clearly, crisply and concisely in a manner tailored for the audience.
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively manage competing priorities and multiple stakeholders.
