Lead Construction Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned construction project manager to lead our team in delivering high-profile projects.

\

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of experience in construction project management, with a focus on design-build. They will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from contract award to closeout, ensuring timely delivery within budget and to required quality standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Administering prime contracts and securing necessary permits and licenses.\
  • Identifying and mitigating risks impacting scope, schedule, cost, or quality.\
  • Selecting, contracting, and managing subcontractors across all project phases.\
  • Authorizing purchases in alignment with approved scopes and procurement schedules.\
  • Managing project schedules to track progress and implement corrective actions.\
  • Monitoring financial performance, including cost control, forecasting, and reporting.\
  • Leading OAC meetings to align stakeholders, resolve issues, and maintain momentum.\
  • Coaching and developing the project team, fostering a collaborative, high-performance culture.\
  • Overseeing project closeout, completing all contractual obligations, documentation, and final payments to ensure client satisfaction.\
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project team members.\
  • Providing expert advice and guidance on construction best practices and industry trends.\
  • Developing and implementing process improvements to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.\
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.\
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and emerging trends.\
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and success.\
  • Fostering a culture of innovation, creativity, and continuous learning.\
  • Contributing to the development of company strategies and goals.\
  • Participating in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.\

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field.\
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to think critically and creatively.\

  • Proven track record of successfully leading complex projects and achieving desired outcomes.\
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.\
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders.\
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with ability to build strong relationships and negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.\

  • Strong technical skills, with proficiency in project management software and tools.\
  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.\
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.\
  • Ability to travel as needed, potentially up to 20% of the time.\
  • Physical stamina to perform job requirements, which may involve long hours, lifting, bending, and standing.\
  • Must be able to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.\
