Job Overview

Benchmark Sensory Strategy & Research is a leading specialist sensory research agency, dedicated to helping our clients succeed in the competitive food market. We're seeking an experienced Assistant Research Manager to join our dynamic research team, contributing to the development of innovative solutions and delivering exceptional results for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research Proposal Writing: Develop comprehensive research proposals that meet client specifications, outlining clear objectives, methodologies, and timelines.
  • Survey Design and Implementation: Contribute to the design of effective surveys, gathering meaningful data to drive business decisions and inform product development.
  • Research Reporting and Analysis: Prepare detailed research reports, presenting findings clearly and professionally, and providing actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Fieldwork Support: Assist the fieldwork team in preparing for and executing research projects, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality data collection.
  • Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand their needs, provide timely assistance throughout the research process, and foster strong relationships built on trust and exceptional service.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: A degree in Food Science, Statistics, Psychology, or a related field is essential for this role.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of the food industry, including trends, consumer behavior, and product development.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate ideas and insights effectively, presenting complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Problem-Solving Aptitude: Ability to think critically and find creative solutions to challenges that arise during research.
