We are seeking an experienced Work Health and Safety Advisor to join our team based in Melbourne's Northern suburbs. This is a fantastic ongoing long-term opportunity for someone who is passionate about Workplace Health and Safety.
About the Role:
- Develop and Implement WHS Systems: The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing our WHS Management System.
- Support and Build Safety Culture: You will support the ongoing development and implementation of our WHS Management System and promote a positive WHS culture within the business.
- Conduct Internal Audits: As a Workplace Health and Safety Advisor, you will conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Analyse and Recommend Improvements: You will analyse and recommend improvements to our WHS strategies, processes, and procedures.
- Manage Incident Investigations: You will manage accident/incident investigations, workers' compensation claims, and return-to-work plans.
Key Accountabilities:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Australian Working Rights: You must hold Australian working rights.
- Qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety: You should have qualifications in occupational health and safety or other relevant disciplines.
- Ability to Influence Change: You should be able to influence and drive change through relevant initiatives and programs.
- Experience in WHS: You should have 4-7 years or more experience in a similar role (preferably within the Manufacturing, Logistics, or Construction industries).
What We Offer:

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year.
