Experienced Quarry Operators are sought after to join our team at Ferny Grove Quarry. Reporting to the Quarry Manager, the role is ideal for candidates passionate about safety and with a strong work ethic. The position has potential to lead to full-time employment for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate mobile equipment such as dump trucks, front-end loaders, and excavators.
  • Operate crushing and screening plant.
  • Perform general fixed plant maintenance and inspections.
  • Assist with various quarry tasks during busy periods.
  • Maintain commitment to Zero Harm and safety leadership.
  • Follow pre-start and maintenance procedures for fixed and mobile plants.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in quarry/mining operations.
  • Proficiency in operating front-end loaders, dump trucks, and excavators.
  • Ability to work independently and in small teams.
  • Professional work ethic with a proactive attitude.
