The successful candidate will be responsible for the direct provision of pharmaceutical services to patients and staff, including inpatient and outpatient dispensing, supervision of technical staff, ward-based clinical services, provision of medicines information and education services to clinical staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct provision of pharmaceutical services to patients and staff
- Supervision of technical staff
- Ward-based clinical services
- Provision of medicines information and education services to clinical staff
- Recent hospital pharmacy experience desirable
- Minimum 5 years of hospital and clinical pharmacy experience required
- Demonstrated sound level of current clinical pharmacy practice and knowledge
- Current registration as a Pharmacist with no restrictions to the scope of practice
- Minimum of Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent degree
- Relevant or working towards pharmacy or health-related postgraduate qualifications
- Member of relevant pharmacy professional groups
- Demonstrate adequate level of clinical knowledge of current drug usage, interactions, and counselling
- Clear and effective communication and liaison skills with internal and external stakeholders
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills
