Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Health Officer to join our team in a permanent full-time position.

This role is responsible for ensuring that we maintain a high standard of public health and wellbeing, as per legislative requirements and internal standards. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Maintaining compliance with legislative requirements and internal standards
  2. Promoting community wellbeing through education, advice and information provision
  3. Fulfilling statutory inspections and assessment requirements
  4. Providing support and guidance to technical officers
  5. Delivering the Domestic Wastewater Management Action Plan

In order to be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent knowledge of environmental health principles and practices
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
