As a senior leader in our rail team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of transportation for generations to come. Your purposeful leadership and expertise will drive high-level strategic advice, project delivery, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead diverse teams through complex issues and challenges, leveraging strong negotiation and consultation skills to deliver successful outcomes.
- Provide expert guidance to project delivery teams to inform program and project management strategies, ensuring seamless project execution.
- Establish and lead cross-functional teams to oversee functions, resources, and outputs, guaranteeing projects are well-resourced and meet delivery goals.
- Identify and mitigate risks to minimize project delivery impacts and ensure on-time completion.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business Management, or a relevant field, or extensive experience in leading complex transport operations activities.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale rail or infrastructure projects, with a focus on strategic planning and implementation.
- Australian motor vehicle driver's license and willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional travel.
