Seeking a skilled PSV Engineer to join our team based at Southport Depot.
Job DescriptionThe role involves servicing, maintenance, and repairs to Arriva and DVSA standards, ensuring vehicle reliability through continuous improvement, MOT preparation, planned preventative maintenance campaigns, and quality checks.
You will be responsible for vehicle fault diagnosis, ensuring that vehicles are maintained to Arriva Standards which is higher than DVSA.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Level 3 NVQ/IRTEC Qualification or equivalent.
- Knowledge of PSV or HGV maintenance.
- Knowledge of engineering procedures and Health & Safety legislation.
- Inspection of vehicles for scheduled maintenance desirable but not essential.
- Experience within a PSV similar role.
- Electrical circuits and systems knowledge desirable but not essential.
- A full UK driving licence with six points or less - essential.
- Ability to pass a PCV pre-employment medical - essential.
- 39 hours per week.
- A permanent, full-time contract offering opportunities for career growth and development.
- Free bus travel for you and a nominated member of your family residing within the same household.
- Training to obtain a PCV licence if you don't already have one.
