Job Title: Project Financial Controller

Lead the financial management of renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance and strategic financial insights to support project financing and investment decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial control across large-scale renewable energy projects from construction through to operations
  • Ensure compliance with AASB9, IFRS, and hedge accounting standards
  • Manage lender reporting, debt drawdowns, and equity requirements
  • Oversee revenue recognition, market settlements, and REC invoicing
  • Lead month-end and year-end close processes
  • Collaborate with external advisors on audits, tax, and financial reporting
  • Provide strategic financial insights to support project financing and investment decisions
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Chartered Accountant (ACMA, CGMA)
  • Experience in renewable energy or large scale infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and electricity market dynamics
  • Confident working with lenders, investors, and cross-functional teams
  • FMVA and/or PMP certification is a plus
