Job Description: Centre Technician

We are seeking a motivated, enthusiastic person who takes pride in their work to join our team as a Centre Technician. This is a hands-on role primarily based in our workshop but also assisting our mobile service technicians where required.

The Role Overview
  • Deliver consistent, accurate, high-quality customer service and plant & machinery repair work to our customers.
  • Provide solutions and build relationships with a variety of customer types.

This challenging role requires applicants who reside in the Launceston area or are ready and willing to relocate. As one of our Centre Technicians, you will be part of a team serving customers over the counter, taking sales enquiries over the phone, and providing the highest standard of customer service.

Requirements:
  • A mechanical background.
  • A trade certificate and/or previous experience within the Hydraulics industry being highly regarded.
  • A strong understanding of and a commitment to faultless customer service.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and numerical skills.
  • Organised and reliable, with a team player attitude.
  • An underlying level of urgency balanced with strict attention to detail.
  • The ability to think on your feet and solve problems under pressure.
  • A readiness to uproot and relocate to Launceston.

Compensation Package
