Marketing Generalist Role

As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for coordinating tasks with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure the timely delivery of regular marketing activities.

  • Coordinating advertising campaigns in all media (broadcast, print, online, social),
  • Managing social media presence, including preparation and scheduling of content, community management and boosting,
  • Creating and producing marketing collateral, merchandise, video production and photography,
  • Organising domestic and international events (trade shows; B2B customer events; B2C product showcases),
  • Conducting market research and new product development (NPD) activity,
  • Managing the online store for Peter Augustus branded B2C sales,
  • Writing and collating content for the company magazine,
  • Creating and producing product packaging

In addition to these tasks, you'll also be responsible for:

  • Maintaining marketing budget spreadsheets,
  • Processing and tracking marketing invoices,
  • Preparing reports and forecasts for marketing performance,
  • Campaign and project management,
  • Liaising with external industry bodies for co-marketing and other support programs

About You

To be considered for this role, you must have the following skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in business, marketing or a similar area,
  • A genuine passion for the beef and cattle industry,
  • At least 2 years' experience in marketing with a generalist skill set across social, digital and traditional channels,
  • Proven experience in managing and executing campaigns across multiple channels,
  • Superior organisational skills with a professional, driven attitude,
  • Creative mind with superb written and verbal communication skills and a passion for storytelling,
  • Critical thinker with strong problem-solving and research proficiencies
