About the Role

We are seeking a customer-focused professional to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate. This key role supports the daily operations of the store, including providing excellent customer service, managing stock, and maintaining store presentation.

This position plays a crucial part in delivering on the mission and values of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer experience and provide assistance across all store areas.
  • Support marketing and promotional activities within the store.
  • Assist with processing donations and ensure merchandise is accurately priced and well-stocked on the sales floor.
  • Carry out store opening and closing duties as required.
  • Follow established procedures for secure cash handling and banking.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and supervision to colleagues when needed.
  • Maintain visual merchandising standards in line with organizational guidelines.
  • Keep the store clean, tidy, and organized by supporting general housekeeping tasks.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Experience in supervising or guiding others in a retail setting (highly regarded).
  • A reasonable level of physical fitness to perform manual tasks.
  • Completion of mandatory training modules including Code of Conduct, WHS, and Bullying & Harassment.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to interact with a diverse range of people.
