Warehouse Associate Role

The position of Warehouse Associate is responsible for coordinating day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving and processing inventory, managing stock levels, and fulfilling orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
  • Verifying the accuracy of received deliveries against consignment notes
  • Checking batch numbers, serial numbers, and expiration dates during product handling
  • Preparing products for storage and ensuring they are safely secured
  • Managing inventory levels by picking, checking, and packing outbound warehouse orders
  • Accurately documenting shipments using designated systems
  • Declaring hazardous materials for transportation purposes
  • Processing cross-dock products through the warehouse cycle
  • Communicating with internal stakeholders regarding product updates and notifications of arrivals
  • Maintaining accurate records of receiving issues and quarantined products
  • Ensuring a clean and organized workspace
  • Updating inventory data in warehouse management systems
  • Notifying relevant parties of incoming repairs or goods for collection
  • Supporting warehouse operations and logistics

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is highly desirable
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Intermediate computer skills, with proficiency in using warehouse or ERP systems an asset
