Overview

Bring your passion for creating innovative mapping and GIS solutions. As a software development internship opportunity at Esri's global R&D team in Melbourne, Australia, you will have the chance to develop leading-edge cross-platform mapping and GIS solutions that run on the latest mobile devices.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and testers to design and develop the next-generation of app building technology.
  • Solve and articulate complex problems with application design, development, and user experiences.
  • Develop focused apps that meet the requirements of a broad range of users.

Requirements

  • Experience with .NET C# and familiarity with Xamarin / Xamarin Forms / MAUI.
  • A keen interest in app development for the purpose of collecting new data and verifying existing GIS data in the field.
  • Ability to work closely with the team and adjust to changes in a constantly evolving environment.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A current 3rd or 4th year Bachelor or Graduate student in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related field.
  • Must have existing work authorization for Australia.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Experience with Esri's ArcGIS product suite.
