Job Description

Coordinate, support and manage local programs to achieve significant growth and quality impacts. Deliver small projects where you are the implementing agent or coordinate and support local partner projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support senior leadership in managing a portfolio of local emergency, welfare and development projects implemented by your organization and its partners;
  • Contribute to organizational planning and strategic direction setting for local programs;
  • Manage and motivate staff involved in local programs;
  • Assist with program development, assessing opportunities for new projects and designing proposals;
  • Facilitate project implementation teams to efficiently perform each function of project cycle management;
  • Support partners to develop their capacities to design, implement, monitor and evaluate projects;
  • Ensure quality and accountability in local program monitoring and evaluation activities.
Skill Requirements:
  • Significant experience in a similar role at a local level;
  • Qualifications in social sciences, including social work;
  • At least 2 years of experience working with local programs in community development settings;
  • Experience in program development, monitoring and evaluation;
  • Knowledge of program implementation within the charity sector;
  • Good leadership and people management skills;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
  • Cross-cultural communication skills and knowledge of Islamic values;
  • Report and proposal writing skills;
  • Complex problem-solving and decision-making skills.
