About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Instructor to join our team at Boeing Defence Australia. As a key member of our CH47F Maintenance Training Team, you will be responsible for delivering technical mechanical trade training in a theory and practical environment, in accordance with appropriate Learning Management Packages (LMP) and schedules.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver technical mechanical trade training in a theory and practical environment, in accordance with LMPs and schedules.
  • Work as a CH47F Course Manager, adhering to Course Management administrative procedures.
  • Develop training package materials through continuous improvement activities.
  • Review and amend assessment instruments.
  • Support the Training Team Lead in the CH47F Maintenance Training Facility.
  • Support the MLSS Program and PST&M Capability Managers with Training Execution as directed.
  • Maintain currency on Aircraft Type as a maintainer, as part of continuous improvement.
  • Support the VoC Training requirements of the MLSS Program.
  • Support the annual Exercise Wallaby as part of the BDA MRO Team.
Requirements
  • CH47F Aircraft Mechanical Type Qualification (B1.3 MAML), or equivalent and 5 years' experience as a Rotary Wing B1.3 Aviation Maintenance Tradesperson and Aviation Supervisor, and/or Aviation Maintenance Manager.
  • Certificate IV in Aero skills (Mechanical).
Desirable Qualifications
  • Experience with the delivery of training in the Defence environment.
  • Interpersonal skills to work in a multi-trade team environment.
  • Hold a Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE 40116/22) or equivalent qualification, or willingness to achieve this qualification as part of your role.
  • Basic understanding of DASA Part 147 and 66 Regulations.
  • Competent Aeroskills Instructor/Mentor/Coach and Courseware Development skills.
