About the Role

The YMCA NSW is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Aquatic Safety Specialist. As a key member of our pool operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our patrons while using our facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Active supervision of the pool and surrounding areas to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all members and visitors
  • Identification and management of safety issues, including emergency response and incident reporting
  • Collaboration with the pool operations team to maintain a clean and safe facility

About You

We are looking for a self-motivated and customer service-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will possess superior communication and observation skills, with the ability to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations. Previous experience working at an aquatic facility is desirable, but not essential, as we offer training and support to ensure you have the necessary skills and qualifications to excel in this role.
