Job Overview

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Mechanical Equipment Specialist to join our team at Superior People Recruitment.

This role reports directly to the Service Manager, Equipment and is responsible for the mechanical work involved in repair, maintenance, and servicing of turf maintenance related equipment within a nominated region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effectively manage field service priorities and schedules
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and resourced service fleet vehicle
  • Coordinate and perform various mechanical work involved in repair, maintenance, and servicing of turf maintenance related equipment
  • Establish and maintain relevant service-related information
  • Provide product service training to clients as required
  • Establish and maintain a customer base to ensure continued financial growth of the service centre
  • Undertake regular internal product-based training to ensure OEM standards of service can be achieved
Requirements

We are seeking an individual with:

  • Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
  • Experience in the maintenance and repair of mobile equipment, including hydraulic and electrical systems, diesel and petrol engines
  • Ability to use test and diagnostic equipment to determine the cause of mechanical or electrical problems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to establish effective business relationships with internal and external customers
  • A valid Australian Motor Vehicle License
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $80,000 - $100,000 AUD, depending on experience. Our company offers 12 month guarantees on all permanent placements.
