About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to join Arcare Aged Care as a dedicated support worker. As a valued member of our team, you will play a crucial role in the overall wellbeing of our residents, providing quality personal, social and emotional care and support.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Personal Care: Assist with activities such as showering, dressing, toileting, and grooming while maintaining the dignity and privacy of each resident.
  • Mobility Support: Help residents with walking, using mobility aids, or transferring between different positions including from a bed to a wheelchair.
  • Monitoring Health: Observe and report any changes in the resident's health or behavior.
  • Meal Assist: Support residents with their dietary requirements, ensuring they receive the food they need and assisting them in the process of eating.
  • Maintaining Records: Keep accurate records of care provided, observations, and any changes in the resident's condition on eCase.
  • Collaboration: Work in collaboration with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible care for our residents.

Requirements:

  • Cert III Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent.
  • Adaptable, passionate and willingness to learn.
  • Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
  • Friendly and effective communication abilities.
