Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Payroll Officer to join our finance team. The successful applicant will be responsible for managing payroll operations and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

  • Undertake payroll processing, including calculations, payments, and reporting;
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all payroll transactions;
  • Provide exceptional customer service to employees and management;
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion;
Key Responsibilities
  • Payroll Processing: Accurately process payroll transactions, including gross pay, net pay, tax withholdings, and other deductions;
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies regarding payroll;
  • Reporting: Prepare and distribute regular payroll reports to management and employees;
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt and professional service to employees and management on payroll-related inquiries;
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a related field (e.g., accounting, finance) preferred;
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll or a related field;
  • Strong understanding of payroll regulations and procedures;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
