Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Food and Beverage Manager to lead our high-performing F&B team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations of all food and beverage outlets.

You will work closely with the Executive Chef to develop and implement business strategies that drive revenue growth, improve operational efficiency, and enhance the guest experience.

Your primary objective will be to create a positive and productive work environment that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Run day-to-day operations: Manage the overall operations of all food and beverage outlets.
  • Financial Management: Achieve annual budgeted revenue, compile and manage budgets, and develop financial strategies for growth.
  • Leadership and Team Development: Train and supervise the team, promote a positive working environment, and champion company culture and values.
  • Operational Excellence: Implement and monitor quality controls, ensure venue presentation and ambience, and manage stock and resources effectively.
  • Guest Services: Foster a culture of guest service excellence and continuously improve the guest experience.
  • Strategic Objectives: Contribute to company strategic goals, review and develop business strategies, and implement performance management for the team.
Requirements
  • Degree in hospitality management or relevant discipline, or significant industry experience (MBA highly regarded).
  • Minimum 3-5 years leading and developing a multi-faceted food and beverage business, with a strong focus on exceptional customer service.
  • RSA / Liquor Licensee Certificate / Food Safety Qualification - highly regarded.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and hands-on leader.
  • Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to share your vision with the team.
About the Role
