Signal Electrician Job Description

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Install and repair signalling equipment to maintain a safe and efficient rail network.
  • Respond to signalling failures by analyzing, repairing, and reporting on causes.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for asset renewal programs and costing systems.
  • Report work performed against scheduled work programs and identify equipment performance and condition irregularities.

About You:

We are seeking a skilled Signal Electrician with a Certificate IV in Railway Signalling and a current Queensland Electrical Mechanic Licence or interstate equivalent. The ideal candidate will have the capacity to travel and work throughout regional Queensland.

Award Details:

The position operates under an Award with a 9 day fortnight (Monday to Friday, Monday to Thursday). We provide paid training and ongoing support to develop your experience and skills within the role.
