About the Role
This position as a General Medicine Registrar/Advanced Trainee is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for managing patient care in consultation with consultants, nurses, and allied health professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage patient care in consultation with consultants, nurses, and allied health professionals
- Participate in continuous quality improvement activities
- Engage in continuing education activities
- Fulfill the requirements of the RACP training program or hold eligibility for registration with AHPRA
Location
Our hospital is situated on the edge of a beautiful harbour city, boasting a unique blend of modern sophistication and rich history. The city offers a laid-back lifestyle, world-class natural and cultural attractions, and a thriving hub of activity in terms of tourism, nightlife, and retail.
Facility Overview
We are a tertiary level 3 teaching hospital with just under 400 beds and around 1,700 staff. Our hospital services a population of 200,000 in a catchment area including urban communities, regional hospitals, and remote Aboriginal communities. We are affiliated with Flinders University and have an onsite Medical School, making us a major referral centre for advanced emergency training.
Requirements
- Hold or be eligible for registration with AHPRA
- Possess at least 12 months recent experience in Internal /General Medicine
- On RACP training program
- IMG's eligible for Competent Authority Pathway - UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, NZ
- IMG's with RACP interview date
- IMG's assessed by RACP and found to be partially or substantially comparable.
