The Role of a Wellbeing Assistant

About the Job

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Wellbeing Assistant to assist in developing our 190 bed aged care residence based in Officer.

The Wellbeing Assistant is an integral member of the Resident Wellbeing team, responsible for delivering varied lifestyle programs and learning new technology to enhance the wellbeing of residents and staff.

  • Delivering lifestyle programs and learning new technology are essential skills required for this role.
  • Previous experience as a Wellbeing Assistant in Aged Care is highly desirable.
  • A Certificate IV or Diploma in Lifestyle and Leisure or equivalent qualification is necessary, along with significant demonstrated lifestyle experience.
  • A current First Aid Certificate and CPR are also required.
  • Fully approved Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory.
  • A valid driver's license is essential for this role.
