Youth Mental Health Clinician

We're seeking a skilled clinician to connect young people and families with the right care. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you'll play a vital role in ensuring timely access to services.
About the RoleThis opportunity is for an experienced mental health clinician who can engage with young people, carers, and service providers via telephone/virtual care. Our CAMHS service assesses and treats young people 0 – 17 years of age and their families/carers who are living in the HNE Local Health District (LHD).
You'll be working as part of a supportive team, receiving direct line management and guidance from the Special Programs & Partnerships Manager. You'll also benefit from regular clinical supervision and access to continuous training and educational programs designed to enhance your professional development.
Key ResponsibilitiesWe're looking for a confident and adaptable clinician with strong verbal and written communication skills. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting bio-psycho-social-cultural and mental health risk assessments
- Providing sound clinical decision-making and judgment
- Working effectively with systems such as IPM and Medchart
