We are seeking a senior lawyer to join our Insurance team in Brisbane.

The Role

This role involves working on high value matters for premium insurer clients in a team recognised for delivering high quality advice and outstanding service across various sectors.

  • Public Liability - Personal Injury & Property
  • Product Liability
  • Indemnity
  • CTP
  • Catastrophic Claims

You will be required to offer a broad range of personal injury and general insurance services to clients, with the ability to run matters through to completion. As a senior member of the team, you will be experienced in leading and mentoring junior lawyers.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor of Laws or equivalent, with a current practising certificate
  • Minimum 2 years' post admission experience in general insurance matters, including liability claims
  • Experience in personal injury proceedings in Queensland
  • A passion for mentoring and supervising junior lawyers
  • Ability to communicate effectively with experts in multiple fields
  • High degree of initiative, dedication and organisation ability with a strong client and commercial focus
