We are seeking a skilled and experienced Midwife to join our team on a locum basis. This is an exciting opportunity to work in some of Australia's most stunning and diverse locations.

Job Description

This role involves providing high-quality midwifery care to women and their families in rural settings. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of services.

The ideal candidate will have minimum 2-5 years' experience in Core or MGP/Caseload settings and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A strong understanding of FSEP certification level 2 principles and flexibility to be away from home for extended periods are also essential.

  • Australian Working Rights
  • Minimum 2 -5 years midwifery experience in Core or MGP/Caseload settings (Recent birth suite exp highly desirable)
  • FSEP certification level 2 (or willingness to obtain)
  • Flexibility to be away from home for weeks
