Financial Operations Officer

We are seeking an experienced Financial Operations Officer to join our team.

This role is responsible for providing high-quality financial support to the business, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial transactions.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Validating and processing invoices daily
  • Preparing payment runs, including electronic transfers and online banking payments
  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
  • Managing high-volume Direct Debit (bank and credit card) payment processes with customers
  • Credit control by conducting daily follow-ups on outstanding balances, managing order holds and releases, and maintaining positive customer relationships
  • Reconciling customer accounts, maintaining accurate accounts receivable records, and preparing aging reports
  • Daily bank reconciliation and up-to-date cash flow records
  • Supporting month-end and year-end closing processes, including preparation of adjusting entries and financial reports
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and other financial documentation as required
  • Providing support for audits by ensuring all financial records are accurate and readily available

  • A strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, compliance requirements, and best practices
