Job Opportunity:

The role involves providing strategic legal advice across all aspects of employment law.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert legal advice on employment law matters including enterprise agreements, awards, contracts, workplace investigations, and terminations.
  • Monitor and interpret legislative and industrial relations developments, advising on implications for policy, practice, and risk.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate employment-related documentation, ensuring legal robustness and alignment with organisational values.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders and external counsel to embed legal risk management into workforce strategy.
  • Influence policy development and contribute to enterprise-wide decision-making on employment practices and compliance.
  • Lead or support responses to regulatory inquiries, disputes, and litigation involving employment matters.
  • Lead, coach, and develop legal professionals within the team.
  • Promote the strategic value of employment law across the organisation, translating legal complexity into clear guidance.

  • Deep knowledge of employment law, industrial relations, and workplace legislation.

  • Skilled in translating legal advice into clear, commercially relevant guidance.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
