Environmental Consultant Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting and delivering environmental site assessments and remediation services.

  • This role involves conducting desktop reviews, data gathering, and technical background research. You will also manage, analyse and present data from environmental investigations and remediation operations.
  • You will assist with writing and compiling reports, including monitoring plans, environmental site assessments, and health and safety documentation.
  • Your responsibilities will include implementing field-based environmental inspection and monitoring programs, performing soil, groundwater, and surface water sampling.
  • You will supervise subcontractors onsite, including drillers and excavation teams, and manage small project scopes, including scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Hydrogeology, Soil Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Up to 3 years of relevant experience, including soil and groundwater sampling.
  • Experience or developing understanding of environmental regulations (WA preferred).
  • Strong Excel skills (Power BI experience desirable).
  • Current Australian working rights and a valid state driving license.

  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work collaboratively in a team.
