Part-time Bookkeeper Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Part-time Bookkeeper to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality bookkeeping and accounting services.

  • Assist with payroll administration, including onboarding, updating & exit processes;
  • Prepare monthly contractors' pay and handle all payroll administration;
  • Daily reconcile bank accounts and accounts receivable receipting;
  • Coordinating accounts payable and ensuring timely payments;
  • Producing invoices using Xero;
  • Debtor collections using Xero and Genie;
  • Closing of month end reconciliations, which also includes banking of cash and cheques;
  • Assisting company accountant with the preparation of quarterly BAS and annual tax lodgements;
  • Registering and updating clinical providers with Health funds;
  • Updating clinical billing items and other administrative tasks on Genie;
  • Assisting management with ad-hoc duties;
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of proven bookkeeping experience;
  • Hold a minimum Certificate IV in Bookkeeping;
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Prioritisation and organisational skills, including the ability to meet deadlines;
  • Computing Skills - Microsoft Office (particularly Excel), Outlook, accounting package: Xero;
