We are seeking a reliable and skilled driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate collection of goods from various locations, as well as interacting with the public and evaluating items for resale.

About the Role

The driver will work closely with the logistics supervisor to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes loading and unloading goods, performing laboring tasks, and distributing goods to stores as required.

The ideal candidate will have a strong safety record, excellent driving skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Loading/unloading goods including furniture items
  • Performing laboring tasks such as lifting and carrying reasonable weights
  • Distribution of goods to stores and assisting retail staff where required
  • Ensuring a professional customer relations experience for our customers
  • Completing delivery paperwork using an electronic device
  • Maintaining safe WHS methods and driving practices
  • Completing pre-start checks, reporting incidents, near misses and vehicle maintenance issues
  • Maintaining cleanliness of vehicle provided
About You/Qualifications
  • A current Australian driver's license (MR license or above)
  • Minimum 1 year driving experience operating a medium rigid vehicle (preferred)
  • Strong time management, reliability and a can-do attitude
  • Confident driving skills and a proven safety record
  • Experience in multi-drop, courier and/or furniture removal is an advantage
  • Good written and oral communication skills; organizational and problem-solving abilities
  • Right to work in Australia
