Senior Newbuilding Construction Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Newbuilding Construction Specialist to join our Hobart office on a full-time basis. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing class services to shipyards and certifying materials and components.
About the Role:
- Project management of new building vessels, ensuring compliance with relevant rules and regulations.
- Certification of materials and components manufactured by local industries, maintaining the highest standards of quality.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with local clients, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
- Technical assistance and support as required, both internally and externally.
- Maintain confidentiality of client information and ensure that all work is performed in accordance with DNV's rules, regulations, and quality requirements.
- Collaborate with line management to address any reputation or integrity issues that may arise.
- Supervise the work of others, ensuring it is carried out efficiently and effectively.
- Promote customer-centricity through effective communication and technical expertise.
- Foster a culture of wellbeing, adhering to DNV's 'Be Well' program.

About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Proven experience as a project manager on complex vessel projects.
- Strong customer service orientation and technical competencies.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as a team player.
- Fluency in English (speaking and writing).
- Flexibility to travel and adapt to changing circumstances.
Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
